SQUAMISH, British Columbia, October 19, 2026 —
Squamish Water Taxi, a boat service on Howe Sound in British Columbia, has added two tools to its website to make planning a trip on the water easier: an interactive route map with a fare estimator, and an AI assistant that answers questions around the clock.
Map a trip, see a fare
The new trip planner on the company's homepage shows Howe Sound destinations as pins on an interactive map. Visitors tap a destination, choose a starting point, set the number of passengers and pick one-way or round trip. The planner draws the approximate water route and shows the cruise time and a rough, distance-based fare estimate.
Estimates include up to three passengers, with additional passengers at $25 each up to six. The company notes that estimates are a guide, not a quote.
Questions answered any time
A chat assistant on every page of the site answers common questions about prices, pickup spots, tours and the Echo Falls trailhead shuttle, drawing only on the company's published information. When a visitor is ready to book, the assistant collects their trip details and passes them to the Squamish Water Taxi team to follow up.
Both tools are live now at squamishwatertaxi.com.
